HOW IT WORKS

When Solar Pool Maid Ionizer floats in water it converts sunlight into electricity by the photovoltaic panel at the top. This harmless low current energizes a copper mineral electrode below the water line causing the release of ions into the water. Ionized water virtually eliminates the growth of microorganism such as algae. Included plastic basket surrounds the anode to keep any residues from dropping into the pool. Solar Pool Maid Ionizer eliminates algae, the cause of green water color, as well as bacteria and viruses, but does not eliminate grease or suntan lotions.
